Aspire Tours

Kathrin Troxler

Aspire Tours vision is to create experiences both outdoor and urban, that connect people with the environment, culture and unique activities so they can explore and play in our favorite places. We feel that having passionate knowledgeable guides and going a little deeper into the history, and current culture, or activity during a tour is key to creating a memorable experience. We are a boutique tour company, and as a result we can be flexible. If you want to veer off the beaten path or push yourself on an exciting mountain or outdoor adventure, we are happy to oblige and have the professional guides that enable you to do so. If your interests are more cultural or urban, we have experts to teach you about history, art and architecture, and the local shopping, culinary, brewery and music scenes.

Hailing from Zurich, Switzerland, Kathrin is a natural in the mountains. Her thirst for adventure and risk taking led her to Colorado 16 years ago where she received a BA in Business & Marketing at MSU and an MA in Communications at UCD. This combined with her many years as a Tour Director for multiple week sightseeing and hiking tours throughout the Western US and Hawaii spurred her desire to found a tour company focused on the guest experience and interaction. She brings creative and innovative ideas to the tours that she has developed, along with a fun and ever approachable style.

Colorado International School (CoIS)

Birgit Mann

Colorado International School (CoIS) is an independent school that provides the highest-quality international education in a language immersion environment to prepare its students for lifelong learning and future educational success.

Established in 2005, Colorado International School (CoIS) is the first and only accredited (Advanced) international immersion school which serves students in preschool through 8th grades (ages 3-14). CoIS immerses students in French, German, Mandarin, Spanish and English in our day programs. We also offer Enrichment Program courses in Persian (Farsi), Russian, Italian, Japanese, and Arabic as in our five main languages.

Colorado International School is authorized to implement the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP). IB World Schools share a common philosophy – a commitment to high-quality, challenging, international education – that we believe is important for our students. To our knowledge, Colorado International School is the only international immersion school in the Rocky Mountain Region with PYP authorization and with curricular immersion in the preschool years; and possibly the only school in the world with PYP authorization in English and in four immersion languages: French, German, Mandarin, and Spanish. October 2016: Colorado International School is delighted to announce that its Preschool Program has become the first preschool program in Denver to be accredited by AdvancED under its rigorous Early Learning Schools standards!
