Yes, it does. The GPW is an organization dedicated to serving the business and cultural interests of German-speaking women in the United States. The Association promotes business networking, the development of ideas and the exchange of information among German-speaking professional women.

Your membership provides you with a monthly newsletter, invitations to monthly meetings for social gatherings and professional presentations, the opportunity to advertise your services or products on our website and newsletter and at events, invitations to other events by international organizations, information about job openings and plenty of networking opportunities.

New members are welcome. The two main requirements are a good command of the German language and engagement in professional endeavor or involvement in volunteer work. The GPWA – CO Chapter was founded in September 2013. Jutta Weidenaar und Heike Vargas started the German Professional Women’s Association, Colorado Chapter in September 2013.
